Delete your browser's history. If you not sure how to do this, the below link gives instructions for all types of browsers

After following the instructions for your browser...please shutdown and restart, your computer.

Check your pop-up blocker. Your pop-up blocker settings must allow the Institutes Online Learning site in order to view these materials.  Changing browsers may help.  Some of our features are in flash and they resource panel does not work in Chrome.
If you are using a MAC product (especially an iPad) or the internet browser Chrome, the exhibits in the resource panel will not open. Please use one of our two recommended browsers, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, to view your modules.

Follow these instruction to make IE9 display our website correctly.

  1. From the menu, Click Tools -> Compatibility View Settings
  2. In the dialog box choose
    • Include updated website lists from Microsoft
    • Display intranet sites in Compatibility View
  3. Click the Close button.
  4. Exit IE9 - Close all open IE9 windows.
  5. Restart IE9.
  6. If this still doesn't work try using another browser.

Firefox (a free browser) should eliminate this issue. You can download it here.

Our modules work using flash which is not compatible with Apple products. Below is an app that will let you view the modules using flash.

Photon: is an internet browser that will let you use flash (lightning bolt tab next to the url address bar) all modules and quizzes will work; however the resource panel objects may take a little longer to display.

You can access the quiz to review in 2 different ways:

1 - Click on Grades on the left, then select the quiz, or
2 - Simply click on the quiz in the middle section of the screen

Then, click the number under "attempt" to view that attempt on the quiz. If you've taken the quiz multiple times, all attempts will be listed and you can look at each one individually by selecting the attempt.

For optimal viewing, a desktop resolution of 1024x768 or higher is suggested.

This is a small glitch in our modules caused by a variety of factors. Close the box, then hit the back button at the bottom of the module and then "next" to return to the screen. The pop-up should then contain content.

  • Adobe Flash Player 9 or higher
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 or higher
  • Java
  • Sound card/speakers (for some courses)
